Most backups and overflows come from buildup that grows slowly inside the pipe until it finally stops flowing. Scheduled jetting cleans the line on a regular schedule, before it turns into an emergency.
Acme Sewer & Drain Cleaning is a licensed, owner-operated Utah plumbing contractor serving restaurants, commercial buildings, rental properties and homes in the Greater Salt Lake Area.
Scheduled jetting is a preventive maintenance service that uses high-pressure water, also known as hydro jetting, on a recurring schedule to remove buildup from the interior of drain and sewer pipes. Instead of waiting for a clog or backup to occur, jetting is performed at planned intervals to keep pipes clean and operating at full capacity.
This service removes:
By maintaining clean pipe walls, scheduled jetting helps prevent blockages, slow drains, sewer backups, and premature pipe damage.
Grease, paper, wipes and buildup collect inside a pipe a little at a time. Even when drains seem to be working, the line can be getting smaller. Jetting it on a schedule cleans it out before it backs up.
Scheduled jetting helps you:
Scheduled jetting fits properties that deal with the same problem over and over:
If you run a kitchen, a backup is more than a mess. The health department can fine a restaurant and shut it down for the day or longer. A grease line on a regular jetting schedule helps keep that from happening.
On a new line, the camera is part of how we work. If we don’t put a camera down the line, we’re guessing about the condition of the pipe. It shows what is in the pipe and what shape it is in, so we know jetting is the right fix and how often to do it. A known greasy line that’s already on a schedule doesn’t need a camera every visit.
Based on what we find, we set a schedule that fits the property. That might be quarterly, twice a year or yearly. A busy kitchen needs it more often than an office building.
On each visit we jet the line with the right nozzle for the job. Cleaning the inside of the pipe gets the grease, scale and debris moving out instead of leaving a small hole through it.
If a line starts filling back up faster than expected, we change the schedule. If it stays clean, we back off.
